List of Books I Read in 2013

With so many self improvement books to choose from, there are some which are truly life changing and opening a new perspective in life. In year 2013 I read more than 130 books and here are list of them, the one marked “-” on the front kf the title are the books I personally recommend for you to read. Some of them teach me to know more about myself, some of them teach me to build a positive relationship, but all of them enhance my quality of life in every possible way. Reading, I believe is necessity of life to grow and be wiser day by day.

I know that not everybody have time to read like I do, but let me get it straight that “if you want to read, you’ll find time to read. And if you don’t, you’ll find excuses”. I am a fourth year medical student and an active stock trader, yet I always found time to read. It could while waiting for class, waiting for my lunch, on my way home, before sleep, and literally everywhere and whenever I have at least five minutes break.

  1. Which self improvement and business books did you find most helpful? I’ve read most of the psychology books you have, I see Liberman was an occurring author 🙂

David is the author which invites me deeper into psychology, in fact his book “How to get anyone to do anything” is the first self help book I read. For self improvement I believe the classic “Think and Grow Rich” and “Awaken the Giant Within” are the most life changing to my life. As for business book, Robert Kiyosaki “Retire Young, retire Rich” is the one that spark my curiosity and get inside the world of stock (although he himself is a real estate guy instead of stock investor). It’s a pleasant to know someone who read the same book as I did and interested in the same major, are you a psychology student? What’s your favorite book? In my country not so many people read “self improvement” book, so it’s always been pleasant for me to chat about it.

      • I’m studying business but I tend to go for psychology/improvement books more often, Tolle, Canfield and Gladwell are my favourites as well as Brian Tracy and Waldo Emerson. Your book record is putting my yearly list to shame though 😀

Ahh, Brian Tracy “Eat that frog”. One book that change my way organizing priorities in life. I see that you are passionate in developing yourself as well, it would be fun to share some of our “wisdom” here weekly. Cheers
