Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives

I decided that somehow I must contribute in some way that would live on long after I was gone

Tell people all things I woould no longer accept in your life, all the things you would no longer tolerate, and all the things that you aspired to becoming

Empowering beliefs is the force behind any great success throughout history

You see, in life, lots of people kmow what to do, but few people actually do what they know

Virtually everything we do is to change the way we feel

It’s not what we di once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently

If you don’t set a baseline standard for what you’ll accept in your life, you’ll find it easy fo slip into behaviors and attitudes or a quality of life that’s far below what you deserve

It’s not important initially to know how you are going to create result. What’s important is to decide you will find a way, no matter what

Making a true decision means committing to achieving a result, and then cutting yourself off from any other possibility

Information is power when it’s acted upon, and one criteria for a true decision is that action flows from it

Repetition is the mother of skill

Three decisions that control your destiny are:
Your decision about what to focus on, what things mean to you, what to do to create the results you desire

It’s likely that whatever challenges you have in your life currently could have been avoided by some better decisions upstream

System of pattern:
Your core beliefs and unconscious rule
Life values
Habitual question that you ask yourself
Emotional states you experience in each moment

Success truly is the result of good judgement. Good judgement is the result of experience, and experience is often the result of bad judgement

Long term happiness is to decide to use whatever life gives you in the moment. Clearly decide what it is that you are absolutely committed ro achieving. You are willing to take massive action. You notice what’s working or not. You continue ri change yiur approach until you achieve what you want, using whatever life gives you along the way

Never to leave the scene of a decision without first taking a specific action toward its realization

Know that it’s your decisions, and not your conditions, that determine your destiny

Everything we do, we do either out of our need to avoid pain or our desire to gain pleasure

Most people would work much harder fo hang on to what they have than they would fo take the risk necessary to get what they really want from their lives

If we link massive pain to any behavior or emotional pattern, we will avoid indulging in it af all cost. We can use this understanding to harness the force of pain and pleasure to change virtually anything in our lives

We don’t move away from real pain, we move away feom what we beliefe will lead to pain

It’s not the events of our lives that shape us, but our beliefs as to what those events mean

People can succeed if they imagine something vividly enough just as easily as if they had the actual experiences

How we deal with adversity and challenges will shape our lives more than slmost anything else

All personal breakthrough begin with a change in beliefs

All truth goes through three steps:
First, it is ridiculed
Second, it is violently opposed
Finally, it is accepted as self evident

The only true security in life comes from knowing that every single day you are improving yourself in some way

Realize, believe, and trust that if you change the meaning of any event in your mind, you will immediately change how you feel and what you do, which will lead you to change your actions and thus transform your destiny

Culturally, we link negative association to the idea of instans change

Once we effect a change, we should reinforce it immediately. Then we have ti condition our nervous system to succeed not just once, but consistently

Creating long term change:
First we must believe something must change
Second we must not only believe that things must change, but we must believe i must change it
Third we have to believe I can change it

Each time we experience a significant amount of pain or pleasure, our brains search for the cause and record it in our nervous systems to enable us to make better decisions about what to do in the future

It’s not just the number of factors on each side but the weight they individually carry to make a decision

Neuro-Associative conditioning:
Decide what you really want and what’s preventing you from having ot now
Get leverage, associate massive pain to not changing now and massive pleasure to the experience of changing now. The greatest leverage you can create for yourself is the psin that comes from inside, not outside. Knowing that you have failed to live uo to your own standards for your life is the ultimate pain
Interrupt limiting pattern
Create a new, empowering alternative
Condition the new pattern until it’s consistent

Any pattern of emotion or behavior that is continually reinforced will become an automatic and conditioned response. Anything we fail to reinforce will eventually dissipate

The element of pleasant surprise is one of the most enjoyable experiences that a human being can have

If someone who seems not to have done anything right is suddenly given a reward, just out of compassion and caring, this can stimulate them to take on new levels and types of behavior and performance

Conditionding is criticsl. Remember that any pattern of emotional behavior that is reinforced ir rewarded in a consistent basis will become conditioned and automatic

What it all comes down to is the fact that you want things or results because you see them as a means to achieving certain feelings, emotions, or states that you desire. There are two primary ways, to change your emotional state (by changing the way you use your physical body), or by changing your focus

The key to success, then, is to create patterns of movement that create confidence, a sense of strength, flexibility, a sense if personal power, and fun

Problem solving question:
What is great about this problem?
What is not perfect yet?
What am I willing to do to make it the way I want it?
What am I willing to no longer do in order to make it the way I want it?
How can I enjoy the process while I do what is necessary to make it they way I want it?

At some point, you’ve got to stop evaluating and start doing

The words you habitually choose also affect how you communicate with yourself and therefore what you experience

If we want to change our lives and shape our destiny, we need to consciously select the words we are going to use, and we need to constantly strive to expand our level of choice

Having only one metaphor is a great way fo limit your life

He knows that just because you don’t see immediate result from your current actions, it doesn’t mean you are not making progress

Realize that the emotions you are feeling at this very moment are a gift, a guideline, a support system, a call to action. If you suppress your emotions and try to drive fhem out of your life, or if you magnify them and allow them to take over everything, then you are squandering one of life’s most precious resources

You don’t need any special reason to feel good, you can just decide to feel good right now, simply because you are alive, simply because you want to

Antidote to fear is making a decision to have faith, knowing you’ve done all you can to prepare for whatever you are fearing, and that most fears in life rarely come to fruition

The message of being overwhelmed is that you need to reevaluate what’s most important to you in this situation

Being cheerful means you are incredibly intelligent because you know that if you live life in a state of pleasure, one that’s so intense that you transmit a sense of joy to those around you, you can have the impact to meet virtually any challenge that comes your way

Six to seven hours of sleep has been found to be optimum for mist people

All goals setting must be immediately followed by both the development of plan, and massive and consistent action toward its fulfillment

Al least twice a day, you must rehearse and emotionally enjoy the experience of acheiving each one of your most valued goals

If someone is doing better than we are in any area of life, it’s simply because they have a better way of evaluating what things mean and what they should do about it

State-> Question based in values, beliefs, and references

We must get clear about what is most important in our lives and decide that we will live by these values, no matter what happens

People will do more to avoid pain than they will to gain pleasure

What do my values need to be in order to achieve the destiny I desire and deserve?

You could win, but you didn’t because the scorecard you are using is unfair. Set things to accomplish for you to feel good and win in a fair way. We want to kae it hard to feel bad, and easy to feel good

If you ever feel angry or upset with someone, remember, it’s your rules (integrity, trust) that are upsetting you, not their behavior

The larger the number and greater the quality if our fpreferences, the greater our potential level of choices. It enable us to more effecrively evaluate what things mean and what we can do

You want to learn from your past, not live in it, focus on the things that empower you

Limited references create a limited life, if you want tomexpand your life, you must expand your references by pursuing ideas and experiences fhat wouldn’t be a part of your life if you didn’t consciously seek them out

We all will act consistently sith our views of who we truly are, whether that view is accurate or not

As w develop new beliefs about whi we are, our behavior will change to support the new identity

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience-Wayne Dyer

The only way relationship will last is if you see your relationship as a place to go to give, and not a place that you go to take

Decide whether it is more important for you to be in love than to be right

Most important and potent way to expand your income is to devise a way to consistently add real value to people’s lives, and you will prosper
