Who’s the last person you saw before reading this prompt? Whether it’s a family member, a coworker, or a total stranger, write a post about what that person is thinking right now.
I saw my driver, the last person I saw before entering the building. He is a well built man in his 30, with black complexion, short haircut and always wearing shirt to look professional. He has been driving for me and my family around 2.5 years by now, the longest employee among my previous driver. He is smart (he used to be a freelance bus driver, bus driver in my country is considered as a rude job, search for ‘kopaja’ if you want to know), his career has gone up year by year, from a very poor man to the mediocre man he is now. I’m proud of his progress, his willingness to learn and become better person, not a trait I found in many people around me.
To answer the prompt today, I think he was thinking how he could live the way I live now, or perhaps what he should do to become a better person each day. He is a nice guy, talkative, and certainly polite.
That’s an example of a man I’m proud to know, a man who don’t stay in his comfort zone and continue to be better day by day. I think there is much more satisfaction in living that way instead of living a flat life constantly, not that I’m saying it will suit everyone though.
