Let me tell you a story about a man who try to love and what happen afterward to him.

A man walked near the river at night without having a certain destination he went to, he just love to walking alone and thinking about various experience he faced that day. After seeing his watch, which showed the blue short arrow in the eleven mark, he turned around and walked the path he took before. In his young age, he has encountered more experience than a man twice his age. He was just trying his best everyday, day by day, striving for a better future. He woke up early in the morning and pray for blessings in life and hoping in the future he will meet a girl for this cycle of life. He is a hard working man, as long as he could find a reason to do anyhing, he would do it and not give up until the project is finished. He studied harder than his friends, sleep late to learn, making preparation for his future.

Sometimes he felt so lonely late at night, thinking about the life he could have if he hadn’t tried so hard. He could have just live like his other friends, meeting days need and going with the flow, forgetting his dream to have a higher standard of life. He could go to a party and meet people rather than studying and researching. Sometimes he would think of himself as pathological, being alone when nearly all his friends are married or engaged, perhaps no one found him admirable at all. One day, he met her, she is the most gorgeous and elegant women he ever saw. Her eyes glow like a diamond under the sunlight, her hairs curled like an angel, and her lips is just like a freshly cutted strawberry. He observed her for days, which became months, and each day he convinced himself she is the one that would make him happy. She became his reason to get along each day and using his time the best he could for the future.

He never said anything about his interest and admiration to her, because inside he is a shy boy with big dreams. He prepared his investment for the future so he could spend all his day just with her without having to work anymore. He designed a house on an island for their retirement although he wish to travel around the world with her. Everything is planned and things are going as plan, all he had to do is stick to the plan. Just as you can’t produce a baby in one month by having nine women pregnant, he can’t fast forward his plan.

One day he heard that she is engaged with a man she had been dating for some time, his heart is broken to the ground. Every night since that day he would think of her, knowing she is in other man hand. And he know he better not mess up with their relationship, because all that matters to him is her happiness, even if it means sacrificing the love he built secretly and burn it into ashes. From that day on, he knew he would never fall in love like he did before again. He now think that never having hope is better than having one and fail again.
